Since beginning his career at IBM, Doug advanced through the sales leadership positions to become Regional Manager responsible for sales and marketing for a major part of the U.S.
He then joined Philips NV as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, where he was responsible for bringing their computer division to the U.S. This transitioned to Executive Vice President of Bell Atlantic where he was instrumental in transitioning their purchased IBM Business Centers to profitability that consummated the sale to CompuCom. Doug joined CompuAdd as Managing Director, opening over 100 retail stores in the U.S. His last corporate leadership assignment was to successfully move Hyundai’s Computer Division from Seoul, South Korea to Santa Clara, CA.
